Professional History
- Starting my career in tv/film seven years ago
in LA working as a Production Assistant, I’ve managed
to gain the invaluable experience that can only be obtained
by working on sets and in the field with people at the top of
their respective professions. By developing a hard work ethic,
paying attention, and taking advice from those people, I’ve
managed to climb the professional ladder and gain experience
in nearly every facet of production. I’ve worked as a
dub-room technician, production assistant, assistant cameraman,
director of photography, associate producer, producer, and director.
- Since moving to DC two years ago to work as a production manager
, I’ve managed to successfully establish my current status
as a freelance Producer/ Cameraman. While in DC I’ve had
the opportunities to work for the likes of Showtime, Discovery,
NBC, and most recently completed a full-time position as an
associate producer/second cameraman for HGTV’s “Kidspace”.
- As a result of these experiences I’ve managed to acquire
my own gear/equipment and have found that there is a real niche
for freelancers such as myself to cover events/stories in and
around the Washington DC area for out of town Producers. Most
recently covering the sentencing of Bob Nay and the trial of “Scooter” Libby
at the Federal Courthouse.
- I’ve managed to develop a solid network of professionals,
from DP’s, audio-techs, and gaffers here in DC who’re
at the top of their game and who I know I can rely on to answer
any questions I may have and/or find someone to fill in for
me or another crew member in the case of any last minute emergencies.
